MixMusician.com was founded in 2023 as a source of information and education for musicians and songwriters who wish to produce professional-quality songs and recordings. From finding creative inspiration, through finalizing a master recording, we’d like to accompany you on your musical journey.

Many musicians and songwriters today hone their craft independently, and often in home studios. The workload of being proficient on an instrument, writing and recording music, mixing and mastering, then potentially releasing and promoting it can be overwhelming. As a songwriter and musician myself, I understand this all too well. Our goal is to help you streamline that workload, simplify the technical tasks, balance what you need to do with what you love to do, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

Our content is aimed foremost at the needs and sensibilities of musicians and songwriters--particularly those working in home studios. However, everyone is welcome to join our “band”, and gather any bits of information that you find useful. Whatever they may be, we wish you the best in your endeavors.

Greg Miller is a longtime Singer/Songwriter who plays piano and keyboards. He has independently released an album and several singles. Prior to that, he worked as a piano teacher after earning an associate degree in music. He’s spent recent years studying audio engineering, and now teaches various aspects of music production.
